Editorial

Editorial review policy

Every brand on Queen Casino List goes through the same simple process. We’d rather be straight with readers about what that process is than dress it up as something more scientific than it really is.

1. Selection

We only consider operators that hold a UK Gambling Commission licence. From that pool, the editorial team shortlists brands that are actively trading, have a usable site and offer something a UK player might reasonably want to compare — slots, live dealer, table games or a mix.

2. Hands-on check

A reviewer registers an account at the operator and goes through the same steps a regular UK player would: ID verification, deposit screen, lobby, search filters and the live promotions page. Where practical, we make a small real-money deposit so we can see the cashier and the withdrawal flow as well.

3. What we score

Editorial scores sit on a 1–10 scale and combine a small number of weighted factors:

Scores are an internal comparison signal. They are not an official rating, a regulatory grade or a guarantee of any outcome at the operator.

4. Updates

Reviews are revisited when an operator launches a noticeable change — a redesigned site, a new payment partner, a different welcome offer or a shift in how terms are presented. If a brand stops meeting our baseline (UK licence, clear terms, functioning site), it is removed.

5. Independence

Commercial arrangements with operators do not influence the wording of a review or the score it receives. Affiliate income exists so the site can keep working — it does not buy a place on the list. Full details on our Affiliate Disclosure page.

6. Corrections

If you spot something out of date or factually wrong, please tell us through the contact page. Editorial corrections are made promptly.
